I note with interest that today’s (online) edition of the Cortez Journal lists four “Cortez Events” – none of which actually take place in Cortez, as is frequently the case. Three are Durango venues, and one is in Mancos.
At minimum, this feature title is regularly misleading. Worse, it is an example of robo-journalism, as happens when a local paper, or at least its website, is not really a local paper, nor one much concerned with accuracy.
I suggest you rename that slot “Area Events” for obvious reasons.
