Southwest Medical Group has announced that the walk-in care clinic in Dolores would open at its new location, 1413 N. Mildred Road, on Monday.
The building is at the front of the Southwest Memorial Hospital campus on Mildred Road in Cortez.
The clinic closed its office at 2095 N. Dolores Highway on Saturday, July 28.
“We feel that our move to campus is in the best interest of our patients and community and the proximity to the rest of our services and staff will enhance our ability to provide quality care.” Southwest Health System spokeswoman Haley Saunders said in a press release.
The clinic will remain under the direction of Dr. Leslie Stanwix. Zane Downs and Lane Shepard.
Typical walk-ins include visits for back and joint pain, lacerations, minor head injuries, colds and flu, allergies, and minor burns, sprains and strains.
Walk-in hours will remain 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The clinic’s phone number also will be unchanged: 970-564-1037.
