The Cortez Public Library has announced its August lineup for the Raising Readers Storytime program, held every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.
Older children are welcome to join for a craft at 11:15 a.m.
The library also offers a Storytime at the Cortez Farmers Market, at the southeast corner of Main and Elm streets at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays. The farmers market Storytime continues throughout the season until the end of October, weather permitting.
The lineup for August:
“Jurassic Jiggle,” Thursday, Aug. 2, and Saturday, Aug. 4.“Let’s Sing,” Thursday, Aug. 9, and Saturday, Aug. 11.“Favorite Author” Laura Numeroff, Thursday, Aug. 16, and Saturday, Aug. 18.“Honey Bees,” Thursday, Aug. 23, and Saturday, Aug. 25.“Boats,” Thursday, Aug. 30, and Saturday, Sept. 1.“We offer songs, stories, crafts and silliness,” children’s librarian Laura McHenry said in a press release. “Please join us!”
