Hiking the Navajo Lake Trail

ABOVE: The Navajo Lake Trail offers good views of local peaks including El Diente Peak (center), a challenging fourteener. The trailhead is on the West Fork Road, 21 miles from the intersection with Colorado Highway 145, and 2 miles past Dunton. The hike to the lake is 4.5 miles, with a very steep final mile.
