Events were recently announced for the 118th annual San Ignacio Fiesta, which will be held July 28 and July 29 at various locations in Ignacio.
The 73rd annual parade will be held at 10 a.m. July 28, with registration at Ignacio High School. Events on July 28 continue with the 23rd annual horseshoe tournament, live music by It’s Jose, food, games, contests and family-friendly fun in Shoshone Park; the annual Southern Ute Community Action duck race fundraiser; and the annual Fiesta dance from 8 p.m. to midnight at Sky Ute Casino Resort, which will feature music by Royal Brown and Joker’s Wild and the crowning of the Fiesta king and queen.
