Byron Porter showed a shorthorn bull named Corner Store that is owned by Clinton Dean, which received Grand Champion at the state fair. At the Montezuma County Fair, Byron showed both cattle in the open show and received Grand Champion with Nitro and Grand Red with Corner Store.

Byron Porter had another impressive showing at the Colorado State Fair. This year, Byron brought home a Reserve Grand Champion ribbon for his heifer Nitro.
