More evacuations lifted; U.S. Highway 550 to reopen, without restrictions
Remnants of Hurricane Bud helped douse the 416 Fire near Hermosa on Saturday. The blaze was 34,161 acres and 25 percent contained as of Saturday evening. Residents in the Haviland Lake, Electra Lake and Lakewood Meadows subdivisions will be allowed to return home at 8 a.m. Sunday, when U.S. Highway 550 fully reopens.
