Grace’s Soup Kitchen, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, will serve its annual traditional Community Thanksgiving Dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for anyone who is hungry or needs some company on the holiday Thursday, Nov. 22. They will also deliver for the homebound and will have take-out meals available after 12:30 p.m. (those interested should call ahead and give their name and phone number by Tuesday, Nov. 20). Grace’s Soup Kitchen is an all-volunteer organization that relies on the generous support of the community; a $20 gift will help them feed a family of 3 or 4. Please send contributions to Grace’s Soup Kitchen, 110 West North St., Cortez, CO 81321. Grace’s provided over 12,000 meals last year without condition or requirement. They are open for meals 3 days a week, starting at noon. For more information, or to donate frozen turkeys or your time, please call 565-7865.
