Every third Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m., inside the Methodist Church in Dolores, bowls full of warm soup will be served.
The church recently started serving free soup on that day and will probably do so during the winter and early spring months.
We want to create an environment for fellowship and open up for those that may need an extra meal, said Pastor Rick Carpenter.
The church is located at 105 N. 8th St. in Dolores.
