There will be a fundraiser for the Rudy Samora family on Friday, Oct. 26.
The fundraiser is a chili dinner with live music and a silent auction from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis Arriola Community Center.
A bank account was set up at Citizens State Bank in Cortez under the name, Samora Fund.
Kiley and Brett Samora, ages 17 and 15, were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 491 on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 14.
Kiley and Brett were airlifted to St. Marys Hospital in Grand Junction with serious injuries.
Their sister, Breana, was treated and released from Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez.
The Samora family appreciates the support.
