The Children’s Kiva Montessori School is holding a fundraiser through May 31 to help raise funds for a new school.

The school is collecting aluminum cans to recycle. The program is called “Cans 4 Cash.”

According to a news release, recycling aluminum cans helps reduce landfill waste, conserve natural resources for further generations and save money for current needs.

“Let the Children’s Kiva Montessori School turn your cans into dollars so that their dream of moving into a new school building this fall is made possible,” Head of School Susan Likes wrote in a news release. “Ever effort counts.”

The school is accepting aluminum can drop-offs at their current location, at 18 N. Beech St., until May 31.
