The Bureau of Land Managements Southwest Resource Advisory Council will meet Friday, Oct. 26 at the Anasazi Heritage Center (27501 Hwy. 184) in Dolores.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m., is open to the public and the public comment period is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Individuals who want to make a statement during the public comment period should register with the BLM by sending an email to sborders@blm.gov by Tuesday, Oct. 23. Speakers should submit a written copy of their statement at the meeting for the administrative record. Depending on the number of speakers, the RAC may limit the length of presentations.

The Southwest RAC is one of three advisory councils to BLM Colorado. Composed of 15 members appointed by the Secretary of the Interior, individuals serving in each RAC represent a broad range of public land interests, ranging from environmental to local government to commercial activity.
