The Norwood Mavericks football team routed the host Mancos Bluejays, 67-12 in Fridays league bout.
In the first quarter, Casey Rohweder (2) completed a pass to Conor Jankowski (99) for a touchdown. They did not get the 2-point conversion.
The same thing happened for their second touchdown. Rohweder threw a 75 yard pass to Jankowski for the TD.
The Bluejays (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Ignacio. The Ignacio Bobcats enter the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Ignacio walloped Center, 18-13, in a league bout.
