A free presentation by Towards Justice titled “Wage Theft & How to Fight Back” will be offered from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Commons Building, 701 Camino del Rio.
It is designed for nonprofit professionals and community leaders who would like to deepen their understanding of the wage-theft problem as well as brainstorm strategies for redress. The presentation will provide information about wage theft and workers’ rights in Colorado.
The Colorado Fiscal Institute estimates that $750 million is stolen from Colorado workers annually, impacting 1 in 10 workers. This presentation will inform participants about steps to take if they are victims of wage theft.
