The Colorado Department of Transportation is planning to repave a section of Highway 184 sometime in the next fiscal year.
Repairs will be done on Highway 184 from Mancos to just south of Dolores, at the Highway 145 intersection.
CDOT spokesperson Nancy Shanks said the repaving project is scheduled for sometime between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014.
The timing of the project will depend on when CDOT hires a contractor, which will follow a bid process.
Also planned is maintenance of Highway 145 from the bridge just south of Dolores all the way through town. CDOT plans to contract for this project as well, which will include a new deck surface on the bridge, waterproofing and a bridge rail.
