The Journal recently published responses to questions asked of the Dolores Town Board candidates. I am one of those candidates.
I am offended that The Journal chose to selectively edit my responses. The editing did not reflect my full statements and obscures my voice.
I cannot fathom the reason for the editing, as my responses were not longer than the responses published for other candidates. I also know how to capitalize properly as opposed to the person responsible for the editing.
What is published reflects on me as a professional with a positive vision for Dolores. Selective editing prevents this vision from being seen by the public.
I ask voters to please become fully informed about the candidates without the interference of selective editing.
