Heart and Soul of Cortez, Vida En Victoria and the Cortez Family Worship Center Foursquare Churches will celebrate and embrace the diversity of the community with La Fiesta Mexicana to be held on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 3 to 6 p.m., at 500 N. Washington St. There will be authentic Mexican food, games, pinatas, music and more, as well as the grand opening of the bilingual Four Corners Family TV Network. Representatives from the Fire Department, Cortez Library, Parks and Recreation, the hospital, Farmers Insurance, Public Safety, local school teachers and other community groups will also be in attendance.
