Cars on show

A 1952 ALLARD J2X parks near the Galloping Goose Historical Society Thursday along with about 90 other classic race cars. This Allard is driven by Don Shires and is part of the Colorado Grand, a 1,000 mile tour of Colorado for race cars made before 1961. About 90 cars participated in this year’s event, in it’s 24th year. The race has given over $3.3 million to charity over those years, Shires said.
