Due to its popularity, two more winter excursions have been scheduled for the Galloping Goose No. 5.
On Friday, Feb. 17, the Goose will run on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad at 10:30 a.m. and noon. Tickets are $25. The runs are the first time the Goose No. 5 has operated in winter since the Rio Grande Southern Railroad was abandoned in 1951.
