Election Day is nearly here, and we both know more is at stake than who gets elected — it’s about every voter having the opportunity to participate— and we need your help.

On Sept. 25, 2012, thousands of volunteers from over a hundred organizations will unleash a nationwide field effort to register voters where they are — on their way to work, on campus, in the community, out shopping, and online. By doing this, we’re helping to ensure that all Americans have the opportunity to register and participate in this year’s election!

This election isn’t just about politics; it’s about the future of our country. We know you are dedicated to making sure every eligible voter has a chance to participate. Voter registration is the key to making sure Americans of all backgrounds — especially young people, new citizens, and those living in traditionally underrepresented communities — have their say this November.

Our Montezuma League is excited to take part in National Voter Registration Day, a nationwide, nonpartisan effort to register thousands of voters on one single day — Sept. 25, 2012 — and we hope you’ll join us! Our League is not participating in the actual registration process, but is actively encouraging folks to register at given locations below in Montezuma County:
