City council considers new police cars

The Cortez City Council will vote on the approval of purchase for several new vehicles when it meets Tuesday.

One of the items on the agenda includes the purchase of three police vehicles for a combined $79,619 from Keesee Motors in Cortez.

Another item entails the purchase of an electric utility vehicle for $7,567 from C&M golf.

Lastly, the council will consider a special event permit for a Four Corners Child Advocacy Center fund raiser set for 5 p.m. Saturday, March 12.

These items will be voted on at the council’s regular meeting 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 210 E. Main Street. An executive session is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
