The Ute Mountain High School Rodeo Team would like to thank Four Corners Community Bank and the Cortez Chamber of Commerce for hosting their pie auction, held on August 9. With the help of Larry Don Suckla and a donation from the bank, members raised $1,215. The monies raised will help the local team members host a state sanctioned rodeo on Sept. 1, 2, and 3 at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds, as well as travel over the next several months competing across the State of Colorado. Thank you all who supported the pie auction.
