Bark, bark, bark. Annoyed yet? How about if that goes on all night? I say we sharpen the pitchforks and oil up the torches. Im mad as hell, and Im not going to take it any more. Some of you know what Im talking about, the neighbors who wont bother to get up off their sorry behinds to yell at their dog who barks nonstop all night long.
Cortez folk get their sleep. Most Coloradoans do too, but not here in Montezuma County. Im told theres no ordinance regarding nuisance barking. It seems the issue has been before our county commissioners more than once, but apparently they dont care. Being politicians, I assume its because theres nothing in it for them, or else not enough voters care. Im going to the commissioners meeting Monday to ask them whats up with that. I hope others will too. Just dont bark at them; youll be in the slammer in less time than it takes to talk about it. You dont have the same rights a dog does.
