AboutFace Aesthetics will celebrate its nine-year anniversary with an open house on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Cortez Medical Spa, 10964 County Road 26 in Cortez.
According to a news release from owner Georgia Stanley, AboutFace will offer reduced prices on injectable treatments, Ultherapy, Geneveve and medical skin care as a way to thank customers for supporting the spa.
AboutFace’s specialists include registered nurses Rylee Sederlin, Colette Wyatt and Sarah Normand, and esthetician Margaret Leeder, Stanley said. She added that AboutFace’s skin and anti-aging treatments include Botox, Xeomin and Dysport for wrinkles; dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Radiesse for liquid face-lift, fine lines or lip augmentation; Kybella and the Vanquish ME radio frequency fat melter for fat reduction; platelet rich plasma medical facials including microneedling and injections; and medical-grade skin care with NeoCutis and Obagi.
The spa also offers Ultherapy ultrasound for skin tightening and Geneveve treatment for vaginal rejuvenation and urinary control. For hair and pigment reduction, AboutFace uses the Lumenis LightSheer diode laser. Services such as microblading, permanent makeup, eyelash extensions, teeth whitening, waxing, microdermabrasion and chemical peels are also offered.
AboutFace recently was voted the best medical spa in the Best of Montezuma County advertising contest. It is located at 10964 Road 26 in Cortez and 555 Rivergate Lane, Unit B2-134 in Durango.
