Pouty little whisps of smoke rise from the dying fires ... they could not consume all they wanted and have laid down in submission to the skills and determination of courageous men and women. Thank you firefighters, local and from distant places; you have saved us from the dragons in our valley!
And thank you to the Journal for your dedication to keep us constantly updated and informed on this frightening event.
