Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Great Outdoors Colorado will offer free admission to Colorado state parks and encourage people to get outside Nov. 24 for Fresh Air Friday, as an alternative to engaging in Black Friday consumer activities.
“The traditional ‘Black Friday’ event has evolved in recent years to focus less on things and more on experiences,“ CPW director Bob Broscheid said in a news release.
Mancos State Park, at 42545 Road N in Mancos, is one of eight state parks that will host a photo scavenger hunt on Fresh Air Friday, which gives participants a chance to win Colorado Outdoors magazine subscriptions, CPW merchandise, annual state park passes and other prizes.
