I want to ask for help to try to recover several boxes of family photographs and documents that were stolen from L and L Storage, east of Cortez.
The boxes contain numerous albums of very old black-and-white photographs and family history documents dating back to when my relatives first arrived in Cortez and well before. The robbery happened sometime during the last 15 months.
The storage owners did not check the lock or videotape the area, so when the theft occurred is not known. China, silver, an antique desk and other things were taken, but the photos and family history are valuable only to us, and we are heartsick at losing them.
