I find it interesting that a man who accuses others of seeing conspiracies seems to find so much conspiracy in the Republican Party. The local party was chugging along just fine until a Democrat in Republican clothing by the name of Will Furse decided to run for the district attorney position.
As for J. Paul Browns endorsement of our current district attorney, Russ Wasley, surely Mike Gaddy remembers that Mr. Brown represents a portion of the 22nd Judical District as our state legislator and has every right to give his opinion. It so happens that J. Paul Brown lives in La Plata County, the same county Will Furse has lived in until last year when he deicided to make the DA run and move to our county. So J. Paul Brown seems to be well acquainted with Mr. Furses background and track record and is apparently not impressed.
