Over the past couple months I’ve read the pros and cons of both candidates for district attorney. Rather than be swayed by rhetoric, I’ve decided to go on the facts. Russell Wasley, the current DA, has the following record:

1. Miller, convicted, 20 years in prison.

2. Nash, convicted, 10 years in prison.

3. Jim, convicted, 14 years in prison.

4. Tutt, convicted, 16 years in prison.

5. Carr, convicted, 20 years in prison.

6. Harrison, convicted, 20 years in prison.

7. Sullivan, convicted, not yet sentenced.

8. Fullbright, convicted, 30 years in prison.

Some have suggested that Wasley isn’t fit or is incompetent. If he’s anywhere near this bad, how was he able to convince a jury to convict on these serious offenses? If he wasn’t prepared and showed up late, again as some have suggested, why didn’t the judge throw these cases out? How can I believe that someone this bad can be so successful?

Now let’s look at the opponent, Will Furse. How many years has he served as an assistant DA? None! How many cases has he tried? None! How much experience does he have working in a DA’s office? None!

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out who I’m voting for! Let’s re-elect Wasley so he can continue putting the bad guys away!
