Monday, Oct. 16

10:50 a.m.: A bag of roughly 2.7 grams of marijuana was found lying next to a birthday cake in Dolores High School, 1301 Central Ave., and handed in at the office.

Tuesday, Oct. 17

11:31 a.m.: A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for failure to appear.

2:04 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of property damage in the 11000 block of County Road 23. Construction workers reported about $2,200 of damage had been done to the new chip and seal pavement on the road sometime before 10 a.m. The case remains under investigation.

8:45 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 24000 block of County Road G on a warrant for failure to appear after the vehicle in which she was a passenger was pulled over for defective headlights. The male driver was issued a written warning for the defective lights and for driving without a license.

2:04 p.m.: A deputy responded to a call about damage to new chip seal on County Road 23 and found a crew repairing it.

8:45 p.m.: A passenger in an SUV on 24000 County Road G was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear after the driver was given a warning for driving without a license and with a nonworking headlamp.
