Cortez Lodge hosts official visit

Grand Line Officers and Masons.

On April 19, the Cortez Lodge No. 133 A.F.&A.M. hosted the official visit of the Grand Officers of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Colorado. Dinner was served followed by the Official Reception of the Most Worshipful Brother Karl Hinkle, Most Worship Grand Master of Masons in Colorado along with his three accompanying Grand Officers: Right Worshipful Brother Daniel R. Gannon, III, Senior Grand Warden, Right Worshipful Brother Michael L. McMillian, Junior Grand Warden, Worshipful Brother Robert D. Elsloo, Junior Grand Deacon, and Worshipful Brother David Coberly, Grand Tiler.

The Grand Officers presented W. Bro. Robert Taylor, member of Cortez Lodge with a plaque and pin for fifty years membership. The Grand Officers each offered a brief message and the evening was concluded with a message from the Grand Master. A total of 74 masons and wives were present representing the following area lodges: San Juan Lodge No. 33 (Silverton), Durango Lodge No. 46, Rico Lodge No. 79, Mancos Lodge No. 100, Pagosa Lodge No. 114, Cortez Lodge No. 133, and Montezuma Lodge No. 145 (Dolores).
