We would like to thank Mr. Haukness, the teachers and staff of Cortez Middle School for the exceptional job they are doing there, and express special thanks to Mrs. Baer, Mrs. Gatzke, Mrs. Ott, and Mr. Livick, Mr. Russell, and Mr. Thompson for their outstanding and innovative teaching efforts. We would also like to thank Mrs. Bayles for her efforts in organizing the recent Adams State and CSU trip for the 8th graders. This was an amazing experience that our daughter will never forget, and as she enters her freshmen year of high school she is already looking forward to the possibility of attending CSU in the future. To all of you at CMS, thank you, you have all made the Junior High experience for Emily an exceptional one, and for that we are grateful.
