To the generous members of our community:

On behalf of the board of trustees and staff of the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the support of the 2012 Friends of Crow Canyon Distinguished Lecturers Series. We just completed our 13th annual series, and our success is possible because of the support of local individuals and businesses.

I would especially like to thank the sponsors for this year’s series. The major sponsors were: First National Bank of Cortez, Fraley & Company Inc., Guy Drew Vineyards, and KSJD Dryland Community Radio. These businesses provided a $1,000 gift-in-kind or contribution to support the series. I would also like to thank the sponsors of each individual lecture: Basin Printing & Imaging, Cortez Adobe Animal Hospital, Cortez Journal, Dolores Food Market, Dolores State Bank, Home Enhancement Systems, Barbara Lang and Art Todd, Nancy and Vince Lee, Maria’s Bookshop, Re/Max Mesa Verde Realty of Mancos — Bill Stanley, SKY ART Karen Kristin, Southwest Seed Inc. and Zuma Natural Foods. These businesses and individuals provided a contribution or a gift-in-kind of at least $250 to sponsor one lecture.

In addition, a big thank you goes to our Friends Advisory Board members Chris and Nancy Babbs, Nancy Evans, Karen Kristin, Barb Lang and Art Todd, Jan Lytle, Karon Myers, Marcie and Jerry Ryan, and Jerry Vincent. The mission of the Friends Advisory Board is to provide cultural resources for the community, to generate funds to underwrite the tuition of local students attending Crow Canyon’s experiential education programs, and to encourage community outreach.

Proceeds from the lecture series benefit Crow Canyon’s Four Corners Youth Scholarship Fund.

We at Crow Canyon are truly grateful to be a part of such a generous community. Thank you for your continued support! Visit our website at www.crowcanyon.org to discover the past, share the adventure!

With deepest gratitude,
Deborah Gangloff, Ph.D.

President & CEO,
