Five members of the Cortez chapter of the national weight-loss group Taking Off Pounds Sensibly attended the 2017 fall rally, “Whooo’s Ready?” in Montrose on Sept. 30.
The Cortez chapter received the award for Chapter Best Average Weight Loss, averaging 7.17 pounds per person.
TOPS meetings are held each Friday at 11 a.m. at the Cortez Public Library conference room.
