This mellow and beautiful fellow — with a personality to match — is a smallish adolescent orange tabby. He’s got a beautiful dappled, orange coat with darker orange spots. His eyes are wise, and a deep yellow. A young neutered male, he’s super laid-back and friendly, and gets along great with other critters — he loves playing with the other kitties when let out of his cage for a little recreational time ... he gets along with dogs as well. He’s not shy; he loves to play, and will do great with a family. When you meet this terrific little guy, he’ll be hard to resist. Please consider bringing someone orange into your life, or any of the other deserving animals that have found themselves at the shelter, and give one a chance for a happy life. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays. They will be closed this Friday, but will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Mary Darlene Chandler children’s book reading, signing, and Adopt-a-thon. It will be the perfect time to bring a new pet home. Right now, the shelter desperately needs big rawhide chews to keep their dogs occupied. They also need Iams puppy food, Purina dog chow, non-clumping cat litter, and liquid laundry soap. For more information, call the shelter at 565-4910.
