Unique works by various artists and in various mediums from the Southwest Artists League are featured this month at the Cortez Recreation Center. Saralynn Risenhoover will give a presentation at the Artists League at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, titled Painting from my Perspective which will incorporate all steps of creating a painting. The League meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cortez Cultural Center, 25 N. Market St., however, beginning in June and going through September, the monthly get-togethers for the group will be plein aire at different area locations.
