Freeloaders vs. those down on their luck

That was mighty harsh, dude, loosing the hounds on that poor fellow who dared call a bum a bum, although your masters, the eastern liberal-owned conglomerates who bought up most of the newspapers in the U.S., would be proud of the way you came down on him like the Hammer of God.

You followed standard protocol, which states you must stifle dissent by viciously attacking anyone who dares attempt to thwart the liberal progressives. The liberal agenda of bankrupting America is all too clear now, as are the tactics you use. The liberals insist we are all equal, and deserving of respect, until you cross us. The shelter director, who so eloquently speaks of compassion, showed her fangs; just count the names she called Mr. Tradlener, (stated or slyly suggested). “Grossly insensitive, exemplary master of inhumanity” — wow, I’m going to borrow that one sometime! — ” inappropriate, biased, and prejudiced.” Others piled on: “lacking compassion, self described heroics, freeloader.” At least one, Carla Greene, managed to make her argument without resorting to name calling.

Shelters are a good thing. Few people would object to helping the homeless with “a bowl of soup and crackers” ( Really? That’s what’s for dinner? What a lousy shelter!) and a bed. The country is $16 trillion in debt, thanks to compassionate liberals, with much more debt coming. One of the issues is the down-on-their-luck folks versus the freeloaders. The government makes no effort to differentiate between the two. I’ll tell you the difference. The homeless fellow who worked hard all his life, but lost his job, savings and house, has nothing — call him down on his luck. The homeless man who has been an alcoholic, and a drain on society for years, gets free health care and a fat SSI check every month. He’s at the shelter because he drank up his check in two days. I call those guys bums.

It’s the New America, we are all equal, except that some have to work, while others get paid to have children, and sit around drinking and taking drugs.
