Wielang, Severy to wed

Carol Wielang and Robert Severy, together with family and friends, are pleased to announce their engagement. Currently a resident of Florence, Ore., Carol lived in the Cortez area for 18 years. She is the owner of Chicken Creek Carvers. Robert is a longtime resident of Florence. He is employed by the Siuslaw School District, currently working with students with special needs. A March 12 wedding is being planned. The couple will continue to reside on the Oregon coast.
