A man was airlifted to Grand Junction and others were injured after an apparent brawl in the parking lot of Angels End Zone in the early hours of Sunday morning.
There are multiple accounts of what caused the melee, and the exact circumstances of the fight remain unclear.
An alleged stabbing victim was listed in good condition Tuesday at Saint Marys Hospital in Grand Junction after sustaining wounds to the torso.
Witnesses reported that another man sustained cuts to the face.
One witness reported the fight started over a misunderstanding when the word beanie was spoken, which was interpreted as beaner.
Another witness reported the fight began between two different individuals after one called the other a derogatory name.
Bar staff told police there were two simultaneous fights on two sides of the bar, with multiple participants. None of the witnesses initially interviewed by police reported seeing a knife.
No one has been arrested in the incident, which is still under investigation and no further information was released by the police department Wednesday.
In a separate, apparently unrelated incident early Friday morning, a man was arrested for allegedly swinging a knife at an Angels employee.
