4CORE objections in context

Dear Editor:

In the Feb. 7 article about the project at Por Dia Daycare, the reporter quoted me correctly.

But having written a glowing article about the project and 4CORE, he included not a word which was the basis for my criticism of that organization and its activities. We spent over 30 minutes, at his request, discussing the 4CORE mission and methods. I read to him extensively from their own documents. I directed him to a couple websites for background for the article and to verify the information given. So to complete the picture, here are a few facts.

4CORE is one of five regions in Colorado under the Governor’s Energy Office. The Governor’s Energy Office is affiliated with Mayor’s Climate Council, I.C.L.E.I., Agenda 21, and the U.N. (I.C.L.E.I. stands for the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives.) These are not loose associations. This is the direct hierarchy of an agenda for worldwide control of all human activity, stemming from the Earth Summit of Rio De Janeiro in 1992, lately based on the flawed ‘science’ of Man-Made Global Warming.

(A good analysis of this can be accessed at www.sovereignty.net , www.freedom21.org , and many others.)

In 2009, they received more than 83 percent of their funding from tax dollars. This does not include additional tax dollars spent on rebates. City council of Cortez just funded them $16,000.

“But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime.” Frederic Bastiat.
