With the bowling league season about two-thirds officially over, bowlers are posting very nice games.
League standings for the week of Jan. 25, through Feb. 2, are as follows. Monday evenings womens teams Sirens and Valley Katz posted team highs with 869/handicap game and 2,424/hcp series, respectively. Luretta Shurman had a banner night rolling 226/574/679 for high scratch game/series/hcp series and Robyn Muellers 267 was the high hcp game.
Tuesday evenings mens team, Empire Electric, took the team highs with 1,097 and 3,148 for hcp game/series. Steve Beecher posted the high scratch/hcp games with 236/252 and Billy Branson took the high scratch/hcp series with 661.
Tuesday Afternoon Womens League had Pippos posting the high hcp game of 618 and P & D Grocery had the high hcp series of 1,784. Janice Hager took high scratch/hcp games with 197/241. Marlene Barker posted the high scratch series of 484 and Sandi Hernandez rolled a 609 hcp series.
Wednesday mornings Womens Coffee League had Angels End Zone posting the high hcp game/series with 644/1,842. Teammate Carolyn Marion posted a 672 hcp series. Yvonne Rule took top honors for scratch game/series/hcp game with 237/572/262.
Mixed leagues posted very nice games as well. The Oddballs League saw Lazy D & R Ranch take team honors with the high hcp game/series with 924/2,578. Jake Franks rolled the high scratch game of 248, while Eric Hart took the scratch/hcp series/hcp games with 668/764/275 for the men. The ladies posted Regina Wojciechowski with the high scratch/hcp game with 226/262. Evelyn Simmons took the high scratch series with 559 and Marnita Crites had the high hcp series with 675.
The Twilighters were on fire with teams DC Sinclair taking hcp series honors with 2,551 and Little Bear Trading Post taking the high hcp game with 880. Brad Milligin took the hcp game/series with 255/750, and Ben Crites took the high scratch game/series with 248/694. Cammie Denno rolled a nice hcp game/series with 250/657, while Arlene Curtis took the high scratch game/series with 233/596.
