Tomac finishes 2nd in Seattle

ELI TOMAC, a 17-year-old McElmo Canyon resident, is the first rider to win his professional motocross debut, a feat he accomplished in Rancho Cordova, Calif., on May 22.

Eli Tomac finished in second place in the Supercross Lites West race at the Monster Energy, American Motorcyclist Association race in Seattle, Wash., on April 16 at Quest Field on his Honda CRF250R.

Tomac moved into third place in the SX Lites West season standings with 138 points for Geico Powersports Honda factory racing team.

The AMA Supercross season continues at Rice Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Saturday, April 30.
