Statement from mayor has connotations

In the April 4 Journal story, the mayor’s statement: “It seems to me that those people that are going to be upset ... it doesn’t make any difference whether it’s 0.55 or 0.35,” sounds like candidate Mitt Romney’s statement that “48 percent aren’t going to vote for me.” That statement was considered a killer of his candidacy.
