Dear Editor:
I enjoyed Russell Smyths hilariously funny, tongue-in-cheek Tebow piece in Editors Notes on Dec. 22. Bet God got a belly laugh from it too.
I dont know Mr. Smyth so I dont know whether he set out to offend or not, but from reading his other Editors Notes, I dont think he did. Im glad our Constitution defends his freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
I dont like Tebows antics and dont know why the NFL lets him get away with it. The NFL fines other players for similar antics like spiking the football after they score a TD. I dont know whether Mr. Tebow has been fined or not, but if he hasnt been, why not, and why doesnt the league stop his on-field antics?
