Cut administrators to save school libraries

Dear Editor:

I’ve heard that one of the cutbacks being considered for our high school and middle schools is elimination of a librarian and part to complete closure of either or both libraries.

Strange, wouldn’t you say, given that our students score stressfully low in reading on CSAPs?

Appalled? Call a board member: Jaclyn Fisher, Diane Fox, Tim Lanier, Brian Demby, Ann Hight, Jack Schuenemeyer, and Eric Whyte. The district has their numbers.

Ask about eliminating some district office jobs so our libraries can continue to serve our students and teacher.
