Landslides close Taylor Creek Road outside Dolores

Taylor Creek Road – Forest Road 545 – is closed by landslides about 3.5 miles from its intersection with Colorado Highway 145, according to a news release from the U.S. Forest Service.

The road is expected be closed until at least June 2.

The road has failed in multiple locations because of the wet winter and failing drainage structures. Repairs will begin as soon as possible, the Forest Service said.
