Laura Lewis Marchino, Executive Director of Region 9 EDD, has been awarded re-certification by the International Economic Development Council. Laura Lewis Marchino first achieved the Certified Economic Developer designation in 2014. CEcD recertification, required every three years, was awarded to Laura Lewis Marchino who met demanding requirements for continuing education and service to the profession.
With 11 years of economic development experience, Laura Lewis Marchino has served on numerous boards including the Homes Fund, Southwest Colorado Community College and United Way of Southwest Colorado. She has been on the National Association of Development Organization’s Board of Directors since 2009.
The designation of Certified Economic Developer is a highly recognized national recognition that denotes a mastery of principal skills in economic development, professional attainment and a commitment to professional growth.
