I am writing to thank community members for voicing concerns about the parking at Southwest Health System at our Mildred Road campus. We understand that the parking is difficult right now and we will continue to see changes throughout the summer and fall as we move along with our project. We will keep you informed of parking changes as they progress. In the meantime, we have resources to help you navigate the property.

We want you to know you can call ahead for help anytime you’re headed to see us. You can call our main number at (970) 565-6666 to ask for a team member to meet you at a certain entrance, at your car or let them know your arrival time and that you would like assistance. Our team is happy to arrange for someone to meet you. If you’re booking an appointment, let us know you need some help and we’ll make sure you have someone waiting for you when you arrive. We have two dedicate guest services concierge’s to help make your visit easier.

If it is an emergency, call 911. If you are driving yourself to the emergency room, please use the main entrance from Mildred Road.

We have a designated patient and visitor parking lot on the west side of our building between the hospital and Vista Grande Inn by the building marked “Cardiac Rehab Kiva Room”. It may be hard to see the parking from the road as you will turn up a small hill into the lot off of E.E. Johnson Drive. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance into the building. This is the easiest way to access physical therapy, cardiac rehab, infusion, diabetes and nutrition education, patient financial services and the cafeteria. This is also the best spot for transportation companies to drop-off and pick-up patients.

We’re here to help and want you to know you can always contact us with questions or concerns. If you’re interested in construction updates, see a map of the property or view construction newsletters, please visit http://swhealth.org/constructionupdates/.

Thanks for entrusting us with your care,

Haley Leonard Saunders
