The Montezuma Titans fifth-grade youth football team is 10-0 and will play in the Four Corners, Young America Football League Super Bowl championship.

The Super Bowl is in Farmington, N.M., at the Boys & Girls Club at 10 a.m. on Saturday versus the Aztec Lobos (9-1).

The Titans finished the regular season 8-0 and won two playoff games to advance to their first YAFL Super Bowl. If the Titans win, they would be the first team from Montezuma County to do so.

This will be the second meeting of the season between the Titans and Lobos. The Titans handed Aztec its only loss, winning 14-12.

Last year, the Titans won the Four Corners championship in Gallup, N.M. This year, the team has had lots of support from the Montezuma-Cortez High School Panthers football players and coaches.
