An 18-year-old Montezuma-Cortez High School senior and a 24-year old man, both from Towaoc, died Monday night in a vehicle accident in New Mexico.
Marnita Raylene Kuebler and Tyrell Frank Boone died in the accident.
Both were lifelong residents of the Ute Mountain Ute community.
The Navajo Police Department responded to the incident. An officer in charge of the investigation was out of the office early this afternoon and could not be reached immediately for comment.
Additional details were not immediately available this afternoon.
Visitation services for both Kuebler and Boone will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
